In a recent analysis of the NBA landscape, an executive candidly labeled Bradley Beal’s contract with the Phoenix Suns as one of the league’s most burdensome. NEWSLETTERS Emailed Daily.

One contract signed today that stands out is the five-year $251M one for Bradley Beal. Negotiated by Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports , the Beal contract consists of a no trade clause.

Since Beal will make roughly $28.75 million in 2020-21, the Wizards can offer him no more than $34.5 million in 2021-22. That's less than what he can earn as a free agent that year.
