An airplane has crashed in India’s northwestern city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat state on Thursday, news agency the Press Trust of India reported.

The plane was bound for London Gatwick Airport and was carrying 169 Indians, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese and one Canadian, Air India said.
