Ukrainian officials say Russia has conducted a “massive” attack against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, firing nearly 200 missiles and drones and leaving more than a million households without power

Russia launched 188 drones against most regions of Ukraine in a nighttime blitz, the Ukrainian air force said Tuesday, describing it as a record number of drones deployed in a single attack. Most of the drones were intercepted,

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that “about 100 attack drones, more than 90 missiles of various types” had targeted Ukraine’s energy facilities. He said Russia’s use of cluster munitions was reported in several Ukrainian regions.

Russia unleashed its second big attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure this month on Thursday, cutting power to more than 1 million people in the west, south, and center of the country, officials said.
