Carlos Santana kick-started an eight-run sixth inning with a bases-clearing double, and the Cleveland Guardians beat the Nationals 8-6 on Wednesday to win two of three at Washington in a 24-hour span.

An epic sixth inning by the Guardians helped produce an 8-6 win over the Nationals on Wednesday May 7, giving them their second straight series win on a two-city road trip.  The Guardians spent less than 24 hours playing the three games in Washington D.
