Prosecutors say a Trump executive order helped the FBI thwart a planned New Year’s Eve attack by a group officials describe as far-left and targeting California companies.

Last Thursday, the House of Representatives voted 232 to 194 to advance the Protect America’s Workforce Act, which would repeal Trump’s Executive Order 14251. That included 22 House Republicans who broke party lines to repeal the president's move to restrict union rights at federal agencies.
