Friday BP: Giants reportedly pursuing Freddy Peralta trade
The Giants are reportedly among five teams pursuing a trade with Milwaukee for RHP Freddy Peralta.
The Giants are "among the teams in on Peralta," per The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal and Will Sammon, who added that the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles and Houston Astros are also part of Peralta's list of interested suitors.
The Brewers departed MLB's winter meetings on Wednesday without having traded Freddy Peralta, which is just fine with manager Pat Murphy.
