FLINT - As the Michigan High School Athletic Association girls basketball state tournament is just a week away, take a look at the Flint-area matchups for districts. The first round of districts will begin on March 3 while the semifinals will begin on March 5. The district round will conclude on March 7 with the district championship.

Will Division 1 end up in a repeat of last year's title match? Can anyone take out Medfield in Division 2? Will Division 3 come down to St. Mary's vs. Foxborough? Is there a repeat in store for Cathedral in Division 4?

The picks are in for next month’s boys and girls Sweet 16s. The voters in this season’s Kentucky High School Basketball Media Polls — one from each of the state’s 16 regions — have made their selections to reach the state tournaments.
