Harvard University’s release this week of a long-awaited, 300-page report addressing antisemitism on campus is the latest milestone in an issue that has been incredibly painful for the campus community – and incredibly powerful for its biggest critic: the Trump administration.

Jewish and Muslim students at Harvard University faced bigotry and abuse as the Massachusetts campus was roiled by protests last year, according to two reports released on Tuesday that found many felt shunned by peers and professors for expressing political beliefs.

The reports found that both Jewish students and Arab and Muslim students said their peers viewed them with suspicion, leading them to play down their identities.
