President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke Saturday about the conflict unfolding between Israel and Iran.

This is the most intense exchange of fire in decades between the two heavily-armed countries, and raises the risk of a wider regional war that some fear could draw in the U.S.

Israel has struck Iran’s nuclear sites and military leaders, and Tehran has retaliated with missiles.
