Royals infielder Josh Rojas began the sixth with a leadoff walk. He advanced to third base on Thomas’ single to set up a scoring opportunity. The Royals took their chance. The players executed a double steal and Rojas scored the tying run on the play. Thomas later scored on Salvador Perez’s RBI single.
