On Thursday, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections released an image of a cell “similar to” Mangione’s cell. Officials said the photo of an empty 15-by-6-foot prison cell shares a concrete wall with Mangione’s cell. It features a desk and stool; sink attached to a toilet; and an elevated concrete bed with a pad atop it.

The cable network NewsNation scoped out the State Correctional Institution Huntingdon in Pennsylvania, where Mangione is being held after his arrest this week in nearby Altoona. In a segment taped from outside the prison, a male voice can be heard shouting “Luigi’s conditions suck!” followed by “Free Luigi!”
