McDonald's is releasing a retro "adult Happy Meal" featuring a limited-edition shake and nostalgic characters for a blast from the past

McDonald’s knows how badly we all want to escape to a simpler time, and the new McDonaldland meal is scratching that itch. “Over the past few years we’ve seen how fans flock to our characters, everyone from Grimace to the Hamburglar.

McDonaldland Meal comes with the choice of a Quarter Pounder with cheese or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries and the brand-new Mt. McDonaldland Shake. The colorful shake is inspired by the blue lava and pink clouds of the mythical volcano, according to a press release.
