Former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is putting together an investment group to bid for a piece of the National Football League team, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Eli Manning is looking to lead an investment group to purchase a stake in his former team, the New York Giants, per Gillian Tan and Randall Williams of Bloomberg. Last February, Ben Fischer of Sports Business Journal reported that the Giants were looking to sell up to 10 percent of the team.
