In Season with the NFC East is giving fans an inside look into how the teams are preparing in the days leading up to matchups. Episode 3 of Hard Knocks dropped on Tuesday.

The NFL at large appeared to be tickled pink at the prospect of 44-year-old Philip Rivers returning to the league and starting a game for the Indianapolis Colts. Episode 3 showed all four NFC East teams marveling at the return of Rivers, who nearly led the Colts to an upset win over Seattle on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders (4-10) broke an eight-game losing streak and pushed the Giants (2-12) into their own eight-game losing streak.

The Dallas Cowboys entered December on a three-game winning streak, but have since received a reality check in the latest NFC East power rankings.
