Dutch club Feyenoord has appointed former player Pascal Bosschaart as interim coach ahead of a Champions League playoff against AC Milan.

Feyenoord have appointed former player Pascal Bosschaart as interim manager to replace Brian Priske, the Dutch club said on Tuesday, with the 44-year-old set to take charge for their upcoming Champions League tie with AC Milan.

New interim Feyenoord coach Pascal Bosschaart has little time to prepare for Wednesday’s Champions League clash against AC Milan after being parachuted into the job at the Dutch club on Monday following the firing of Brian Priske.

The Former Feyenoord player Bosschaart, who previously worked as assistant coach at SC Cambuur and FC Dordrecht for several years, comes over from Feyenoord Academy, where he was in charge of Under 21 side. His assistant Arnold Scholten will move up to replace his job there.
