Penn State Athletic Director Pat Kraft, who has been through a two-month search whirlwind, on Thursday announced his second significant hire of December. Penn State hired Vermont men’s soccer coach Rob Dow, who led the Catamounts to the 2024 NCAA championship.

After being let go from Penn State, James Franklin is on a mission. He is bringing over a fan-favorite coach to Virginia Tech.

Tennessee has hired Jim Knowles from Penn State as the team's defensive coordinator, giving him a three-year contract that will pay him an average of $2.2 million annually.

Penn State guard Vega Ioane has announced he has opted out of the Pinstripe Bowl and has declared for the 2026 NFL draft. The 6-4, 330-pound Ioane, a fourth-year junior, played in 44 games for the Nittany Lions, including 32 starts. He’s projected to be a first-round pick.
