For the first time in two months, the Red Sox were able to report some substantive progress for outfielder Roman Anthony, who has resumed a swing progression. The outfielder suffered a partial tear of a tendon connected to his ring finger on May 4 at Comerica Park.
Roman Anthony (finger) has yet to resume swinging a bat. Anthony will continue his rehabilitation at the club’s spring training complex in Florida as he works his way back from a partially torn tendon in right ring finger that sent him to the injured list in early May.
