The error proved costly. The Yankees held on for a 1-0 victory and swept the Royals at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals have now lost eight consecutive games to New York since their ALDS matchup last October.
Judge announced his presence with two homers at Kauffman Stadium. He blasted a 469 foot home run that landed atop the scoreboard in left field. And the Yankees outscored the Royals 17-5 in the series. New York has won eight consecutive matchups against the Royals after Thursday’s 1-0 victory.
The New York Yankees came into Kauffman Stadium and laid a smackdown on the Kansas City Royals. The Yankees won 10-2 on Tuesday night, 6-3 on Wednesday, and then stole a 1-0 decision on Thursday without Aaron Judge in the lineup.
