In fairness, Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald explains that Tyreek wasn’t late for the actual start of practice. Kelly said Hill missed the team stretch, which is something he has (per Kelly) “rarely attended, and that includes his 2 1,700 yard seasons.”

Hill took a different approach when the subject was his reaction to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa saying he was still working to overcome the incident in last season’s finale in which Hill took himself out of the game and then said he wanted out of Miami. He has since consistently said South Florida is where he wants to be.
