Where does Auburn basketball rank in the KenPom ahead of Tuesday's game with Wofford?
Auburn basketball enters the week with a 2-0 record. Here's how they stack up in the latest analytical rankings from KenPom.
Auburn moved down a couple of spots to No. 22 in this week’s AP Poll, as they were originally No. 20 heading into the season. The Tigers rank as the sixth-highest SEC team in the poll, with No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Kentucky, No. 10 Florida, No. 20 Tennessee, and No. 21 Arkansas all ahead of them.
After escaping its season-opener with a win, Auburn basketball maintained an undefeated start Thursday, beating Merrimack in blowout fashion.
Here three takeaways from Auburn’s victory over Merrimack: Auburn didn’t make things easy for Merrimack, as the Tigers held them to six made field goals in the first 20 minutes of play. At the four-minute mark of the first half, Merrimack had only three made field goals and were shooting 2-for-14 from beyond the arc.
The former Tiger has been active on Twitter since his departure, and Auburn fans seem to take offense at his posts.

Bruce Pearl reflects on Steven Pearl's first win as Auburn basketball's head coach
Former head coach Bruce Pearl was not in attendance for his son's first game as Auburn's head coach, but he kept a close eye on the action. He showed emotion during Monday night's college basketball coverage on TNT while reflecting on Steven's debut.
Despite Tahaad Pettiford shooting just 30% from the field and 18.8% from three, Steven Pearl believes his guard's eventual breakthrough will make Auburn's offense "explosive."
