INDIANAPOLIS — Braden Smith has been named the Colts ’ 2025 recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award, an award voted on by a player’s teammates to recognize courageous play from an individual.
The Indianapolis Colts announced they have signed quarterback Philip Rivers to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. To make room for Rivers, the Colts placed right tackle Braden Smith on injured reserve due to a concussion and neck injury.

Jalen Travis will likely start at right tackle in Smith's place against a fearsome Seahawks defensive front.
