After weeks of QB drama in the desert, the Cardinals find out they have lots of other problems
The Arizona Cardinals got smoked by the Seattle Seahawks 44-22 on Sunday, losing for the ninth straight time against their NFC West opponent. The Cardinals (3-6) were never competitive, falling into a 35-0 hole by the middle of the second quarter before limping to the finish in an embarassing performance.
DeMarcus Lawrence logged multiple scores in the first half of the Seahawks vs. Cardinals game. He made NFL history doing so.
A day of dominance by the Seahawks against Arizona seemed to be punctuated by Lawrence’s two fumble returns for touchdowns, both in the first half, in the 44-22 romp over the Cardinals. They were the third and fourth touchdowns in Lawrence’s NFL career and his fifth going back to college after scoring once during his first season at Boise State.
The Seattle Seahawks are proving their dark horse Super Bowl status following their dominant win over the Cardinals.
