Operational Transformation (OT): A concurrency control algorithm which allows multiple users to edit simultaneously by transforming operations to preserve the intention of each edit.

Concurrency Control Model for Distributed Database Now-a-days, distributed databases have taken concentration in the database research.

Alongside these efforts, emerging scheduling algorithms for distributed transactional memory are being refined to deliver near-optimal execution times.

It is developed for database but not for XML data. This paper presents advances in DTX, a mechanism for distributed concurrency control of XML data.
