With multiple head coaching vacancies in the NFL, one stands out above the rest according to legendary coach Jimmy Johnson.

Jerry Jones once famously said 500 coaches could have won Super Bowls with those early 1990s Dallas Cowboys teams. The owner and general manager has made six hires since winning two Super Bowls with Jimmy Johnson and one with Barry Switzer. None that have followed have been able to get the Cowboys past the divisional round of the playoffs.

The Raiders' chances of landing the coveted Lions offensive coordinator as their next head coach are reportedly gaining some serious steam.

There are currently several head coaching openings across the NFL, and some are obviously more appealing than others. The teams with those openings have been starting to conduct interviews, and hiring the right man for the job could be the first domino to fall as far as the other moves they will make in the weeks and months to come.

As the week has progressed, there appears to be more and more smoke to the possible fire that Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson could take the Las Vegas Raiders' head coach position. One NFL analyst thinks that would be a bad idea.
