The Powerball jackpot climbed to an estimated $1.5 billion, the fifth-largest in the game’s history, after no ticket matched all six winning numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing.

The winning numbers drawn on Dec. 15 were: 23, 35, 59, 63, 68 and a Powerball of 2. The Power Play multiplier is 4x. While no one matched all five numbers and the Powerball, two $1 million prizes were won by ticket holders in Arizona and California after they matched five numbers.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the latest drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing to $1.5 billion, the eighth-largest lottery jackpot in U.

The jackpot game Hit 5 costs $1 per play. Players choose five numbers from 1 to 42 or allow the system to choose for them, according to Washington’s Lottery. If a player matches all five numbers, they take home the cashpot, which starts out at $100,000 and grows until it’s won, the lottery website said.
