The Spartans were led by freshman forward Cam Ward, who made eight of his 13 shots from the field for 18 points with 10 rebounds. Coen Carr totaled up 15 points and seven rebounds with three assists.
The Spartans got up for their first ranked matchup of the season against Arkansas and came away with a team victory.
