A former Brooklyn police sergeant pleaded no contest to first-degree misdemeanor assault in Parma Municipal Court on Monday afternoon.

A registered nurse has pleaded no contest to one count of a controlled substance after being accused of stealing morphine from Christian Park Village, an assisted living facility where she was previously employed.
