The House Science Committee unanimously approved a NASA authorization bill Feb. 4 after adopting dozens of amendments.
The Taiwan and American Space Assistance (TASA) Act was included as an amendment to the NASA Reauthorization Act of 2026, which the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology passed in a 37-0 vote. The TASA Act was first introduced in September 2025 by US representatives French Hill and Gabe Amo.
