Florida's hiring of Jon Sumrall has gotten plenty of praise, and it now has the endorsement of legendary Gators coach Urban Meyer.

Florida football is set to hire Tulane's Jon Sumrall as its next head coach, according to multiple reports.

Sumrall has a 42-11 record in successful runs at a pair of Group of 5 programs; he has led his team to the conference championship game in each of his four seasons as a head coach.
