A 15-year-old boy was found shot and killed inside a home in Englewood Tuesday morning. Just after 11:30 a.m., the teen was found with a gunshot wound to the head at a home in the 6700 block of South Parnell Avenue.

CHICAGO - A 15-year-old boy was found shot to death inside a home on the city's South Side around midday on Tuesday, police said. The boy was found unresponsive inside the residence in the 6700 block of South Parnell Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood around 11:33 a.m. He had a gunshot wound to the head.

A Monday afternoon shooting left two people dead and four others wounded in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

Eight people were shot, including three fatally, Monday afternoon at a social gathering in Chicago's Gage Park neighborhood, authorities said.
