The Jackson Arnold era is over at Oklahoma. The Sooners' starting quarterback plans to enter the transfer portal, his father, Todd, told The Oklahoman on Wednesday.

QB Jackson Arnold, who started 10 games over his two seasons with the Sooners, is entering the NCAA transfer portal and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining at his next school.

The Sooners' 5-star recruit had an uneven sophomore year in which he was plagued by turnovers and ranked last among SEC quarterbacks in passing yards.

The University of Oklahoma's starting quarterback will enter the transfer portal, a source confirmed to KOCO. After two seasons, quarterback Jackson Arnold will no longer be playing for the Sooners. Arnold ended that 2024 season as the Sooners' starting quarterback after a back-and-forth with freshman Michael Hawkins Jr.
