MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Twins haven't forgotten the sting from the day of the trade deadline last year. Their latest feel-good win added yet more fuel for the front office to be in buy mode this time instead of the massive sell-off last summer.

Minnesota beat Kansas City 3-2 on a two-run triple from Royce Lewis, but the celebration came with a health question attached to it.

Royals catcher Carter Jensen provided the visitors’ lone run. He belted his 15th home run of the year off the right-field facade in the sixth; the blast traveled 424 feet to put the Royals on the board.
