A man charged with a felony for hurling a sandwich at a federal law-enforcement official in the nation’s capital has been fired from his job at the Justice Department.

The accused Subway sandwich slinger, Sean Charles Dunn, worked in the international affairs section of the criminal division at the Justice Department, a DOJ source told NBC News. An attorney for Dunn did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
