Star batter KL Rahul will play for the Delhi Capitals in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). He fetched a massive ₹14 crore from the franchise in the mega auction. It was the first time since the IPL 2018 auction that Rahul was up for bidding.

KL Rahul who is currently in AUstralia with Team India will be heading to a new franchisee in the IPL 2025 season. Rahul will join Shreyas Iyer at Deli Capitals after franchisee sign him for ₹14 Crore during the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.

Notably, the Lucknow Super Giants did not retain their captain and no bid was placed for him for IPL 2025 during the auction. Cricket experts have predicted that DC bosses could give reigns of the ream in the hands of KL Rahul after the departure of Rishabh Pant.
