The Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders have one less quarterback to target in the 2026 NFL Draft after a report stated South Carolina signal-caller LaNorris Sellers is staying in college for another year.

The face mask penalty benefited the Steelers as Pittsburgh accepted the infraction during the play involving Gainwell, Rodgers and Gilman. After the NFL gameday operations announced the fines from the previous week, Gilman dodged a fine from the league office.

Now, one of the defensive backs to make the rotation during that era has officially announced his retirement. Desmond King II, who spent part of the 2023 season with the Steelers, has taken to social media to officially announce his retirement from professional football.
