For some, making a last-minute dash to the grocery store on Thanksgiving has become as customary as the holiday meal itself. However, an increasing number of grocers are scaling back hours and some, like Target and Walmart, are continuing a tradition they started during the COVID-19 pandemic and shutting their doors entirely on the holiday.

Several stores and most banks and post offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday, Nov. 28.
