How To SSH Into Raspberry Pi (And Why You Might Need To) - MSN
Secure Shell (SSH) is a function that allows users to remotely access and control a Raspberry Pi command line.
If you need to access your Raspberry PI projects without using a monitor, you can set up a Secure Shell (SSH) on your computer.
Once you note down the IP address, download PuTTY. This is a free SSH client for remotely accessing the Raspberry Pi. Logging into the Pi with PuTTY is easy.
I can ssh via hostname, and navigating to the Pi-Hole admin page works using the hostname on my Android phone, but not on a Windows laptop. Would still like this moved to Linux Kung-Fu. That's odd.
