Cody Glass doesn’t stress out when, abruptly, the Pittsburgh Penguins task him with switching positions. Changes to deployment and skating with different wingers is part of everyday life in the NHL, which Glass accepts and has already navigated through during his first campaign in a Penguins sweater.

The 38-year-old isn’t having one of his better offensive seasons, but he remains a capable second-line center for Pittsburgh and the drop-off with him out of the lineup will be substantial.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin (upper body) has been activated from Injured Reserve ahead of Tuesday's contest against Seattle. Jesse Puljujarvi was reassigned to the AHL in a corresponding move.
