Holding his season-ending press conference, Denver Broncos general manager George Paton stated Wednesday that the team and outside linebacker Nik Bonitto have yet to begin negotiations toward a potential contract extension,

At this time last year, George Paton expressed interest in a Patrick Surtain extension. Although it took several months, the Broncos finalized a contract with their top player.

Miller earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2015, and would go on to garner second-team nods in 2017 and 2018 before being traded. Bonitto is the first Broncos All-Pro since Miller, second-team though Nik was in 2024. It's interesting how those two things — All-Pro pass rushers and playoff berths — tend to run parallel.

Despite their playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills, George Paton knows the future is bright for the Denver Broncos and is ready to have another successful offseason.
