Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong kicks fan off stage for playing Oasis’ ‘Wonderwall’
Days before, Green Day played a set at Germany’s Hurricane Festival, where Armstrong chastised a fan for squirting him with a water gun. The band was performing their 2004 tune, “Jesus of Suburbia,” when the singer stopped mid-song and gave the crowd the middle finger. Armstrong then went upstage to confront the culprits.
Songs like “Good Day” and “Up!” are bouncy and lighthearted, the perfect background track for a TikTok from a beach vacation or a reel showing an unmedicated labor with amazingly good vibes.
NASA’s Space Shuttle mission STS-135 used “Good Day Sunshine” as wake-up music. In November 2005, McCartney performed the song live to the crew of the International Space Station.
