Alexander told the world last year that his life was consistent across the board. But perhaps even he didn’t know it could get this deep.  On Friday, with his Thunder (15-4) grinding and attempting to stomach more forgettable offense — a bug that’s lasted the better part of a road trip — Gilgeous-Alexander sized up his defender while up one.

Lakers star LeBron James struggled in this loss, scoring just 12 points on 5/13 from the field. Adding five turnovers, James was a team-worst -12 in the losing effort. James' co-star Anthony Davis also finished well below his season scoring average, tallying just 15 points in 38 minutes.

So far Anthony Davis is having the best season of his decorated pro career, and LeBron James is inexplicably good for a 22-year veteran. They go against the best defense in the sport.
