Even though they have plenty of their own quarterback problems right now, the Seahawks are catching another break in regards to their opponents' QB situation. Next week the Seahawks will be hosting the Indianapolis Colts, but they just lost their starter Daniel Jones to an Achilles injury against Jacksonville, according to Adam Schefter at ESPN.
The Colts are looking to avoid becoming the 6th team since the 1970 Merger to miss the playoffs after starting 7-1 or better through 8 games (2012 Bears, 1996 Washington, 1988 Saints, 1987 Chargers, 1975 Dolphins) Lets take a deeper dive into this week’s matchup between the two teams seemingly headed in opposite directions.
The Seahawks had only one player, rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo, miss practice to start the week as they prepare to host the Indianapolis Colts. Arroyo, who left last weekend's win in Atlanta with a knee injury, is in jeopardy of missing this weekend's game, said Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald.
In Week 15, the Seattle Seahawks and Jaxon Smith-Njigba play the Indianapolis Colts at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday. Smith-Njigba (limited participation in practice, nir - rest) appears on the injury report this week. He does not currently have a game status listed.
