Train derailment in Dorchester County prompts multi-agency response
Emergency crews from multiple agencies are responding Saturday morning to a train derailment in Dorchester County. The derailment occurred near the KION North America plant, located off West 5th North Street (Highway 78).
While it's unclear what caused the train cars to derail, more than a dozen cars appeared to be involved in the incident.
