Before Tuesday night's 7-2 win at Atlanta, Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy suggested “most people couldn't tell you five players on our team.” A look at the standings would indicate more Brewers players soon will be recognized by more fans.

The Brewers won their fifth-straight game on Tuesday, capping a 44-16 stretch which marks the best 60-game stretch in team history.

But neither Peralta nor any of the Milwaukee pitchers who followed him tonight had their best stuff, yet the Brewers managed to limit the damage. On the other side of the ball, two of the most unexpected faces of the Brewers’ underdog season came up with big hits — Andrew Vaughn and Isaac Collins — and the offense did plenty to keep Atlanta at arm’s length.
