Gerardo “Tata” Martino, who guided Inter Miami to the best regular season record in Major League Soccer history this season, is resigning as coach of the club.

Inter Miami head coach Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino has resigned due to personal reasons, according to multiple sources. The 61-year-old led Miami to a record-setting 74-point regular season and a Supporters’ Shield title.

Martino himself deemed the season as a failure despite Miami winning the Supporters' Shield and setting a new single-season record with 74 points.
