Golden State Warriors teammates Jimmy Butler and Buddy Hield already have something special developing in the months that they have played together.

But they got plenty of offensive contributions from others afterward, and it was enough for a 99-88 win. Buddy Hield led them in scoring with 24 points, and Draymond Green praised his teammates as only he could. He said that Jimmy Butler became the leading man and Hield became a second banana by making an analogy to the Batman franchise.

Hield, in the first minute of the Warriors’ 99-88 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals, wore a black and blue pair of shorts instead of the black and yellow shorts his teammates had on. The Timberwolves’ bench pointed that out, which left Hield laughing on the court after he realized his error.
