DETROIT -- Tomas Nido will be behind the plate for the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night. The Tigers (26-13) and Texas Rangers (18-21) meet at 6:10 p.m at Comerica Park. Catcher Dillon Dingler; infielder Andy Ibanez; and infielder/outfielders Javier Baez and Justyn-Henry Malloy will be available off the bench. The full lineup is below.

The Detroit Tigers are off to a fantastic start to the season, and a lot of credit has to go to an improved lineup. Expectations were much higher for the Tigers coming into this year, and they have been living up to them so far.
Flaherty allowed a leadoff homer in the first inning to Josh Smith. Corey Seager followed with another solo shot two batters later. Evan Carter went deep in the second, and slumping designated hitter Joc Pederson hit a two-run homer in the third.
Corey Seager had two solo home runs and an RBI double, Jacob deGrom struck out a season-high 10 in five-plus innings and the Texas Rangers beat Detroit 10-3 on Saturday night to end the Tigers' winning streak at five.
