At 2:38 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated heat advisory valid for Thursday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Eastern Montgomery and Lower Bucks.

It’s not the first instance of unusually high temperatures in Alaska, but using the heat advisory label could help convey the weather’s severity.
