Amazon is preparing to launch its second batch of Project Kuiper internet satellites to orbit as it seeks to build out a constellation to take on SpaceX’s Starlink service.

A second batch of satellites from Amazon's Project Kuiper is scheduled to launch from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Monday afternoon. The ULA Atlas V 551 rocket launch window begins at 1:25 p.m. with 30 minutes allotted for potential delays.

Florida’s 50th launch of 2025 had been planned to be a human spaceflight, but instead it ended up being another batch of Starlink satellites.

Originally named Launch Complex 37, it was built during the Apollo era where Launch Pad 37A was never used, but it was Launch Pad 37B that saw all the action: From Saturn 1 and Saturn 1B launches to Delta IV and Delta IV Heavy takeoffs from 2002 to 2024.
