A new boxing gym and barbershop will celebrate a grand opening Aug. 1, with a daylong event featuring Aztec dancers, live music, food and a sanctioned amateur boxing tournament.
The annual celebration honors ancestral Mexican heritage through traditional art, language, dance and music according to Calpulli Yaocuauhtli, the non-profit group organizing the event.
